The Frank Bruno Foundation

This year the money that Ede Homes have raised from the sale of ex show home furniture has gone towards supporting the Frank Bruno Foundation and their new Oxford branch.

The Frank Bruno foundation exists to provide support, encouragement, and the motivation to succeed for those currently facing or recovering from mental ill-health issues. They aim to achieve this by providing opportunities to participate in a wellbeing and non-contact boxing program.

The Frank Bruno foundation also campaign to raise public awareness of mental ill health and how this can affect anyone at any time, they campaign to knockout the stigma surrounding this using social media platforms and the charity ambassadors to encourage anyone facing mental ill health to talk openly. Whilst attitudes are slowly changing mental ill health is still a taboo subject with many choosing not to tell anyone of a diagnosis for fear of being labelled and judged.
